EVERYONE is totally superior to the French, especially considering that they have more riders in the peloton than any other country.

Since you're taking requests, do you have one coming on climbers?!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31276168.post-76756475007192350512009-06-30T17:41:11.827-04:002009-06-30T17:41:11.827-04:00Don't feel bad about the wanky Twitter comment...Don't feel bad about the wanky Twitter comments Simon, they're a brainwashed cult, it's a wonder we don't all see 'em draped in yellow sheets handing out daisies at airports. And given Americans' love of (1) heroes, whose stories (2) make great soundbites and(3) reinforce our irrational belief in total American superiority, (4) particularly over the French, you can't hit a bigger goldmine than Lance. He's also doesn't seem to have a real good head for tactics. But, damn, was it not inspiring to see him pounding out climbs like a machine at the Giro, little Alberto dry humping his wheel all the while. He'd'a ho slapped the Energizer Bunny.

Beyond having a weaker team, I don't think he's got what he needs upstairs to win. But I'm looking forward to watching him again.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31276168.post-46788560255297315162009-06-30T15:34:05.635-04:002009-06-30T15:34:05.635-04:00Ew, yeah, TMI for sure. I posted a comment on twitter regarding why americans blindly follow Lance Armstrong and that it was a shame that there is this blanket coverage of his every move. Within the space of 2 days I got 197 Direct messages and comments from American Cyclists telling me to shut my face and other such Hate Mail. Did that prove my point. Anyway Carlos "The King" Sastre is going to win again this year so we dont need to talk about anyone else.

Simon
www.lagazzettadellobici.blogspot.comsimon lambhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00248959512198397401noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31276168.post-39434370754449314092009-06-30T03:32:49.316-04:002009-06-30T03:32:49.316-04:00"Lance, who is a jerk, gave an interview to a..."Lance, who is a jerk, gave an interview to an Australian newspaper saying last year’s Tour was a “joke,” but then again, Lance is a jerk."
nearly fell off my chair laughing then rj.
